GTA Rally
Map1 - Downtown
Credits: Azz made this grand map and
I made the hotel in it :)
Misc Info on map: Okay, this is the first map for the GTA Rally
project and it is in place of Liberty City. It is a track race (meaning
that it is a loop so you do a few laps of it.) Me and Azz worked
on this map (admittedly I did very little to it - but I did make that groovy
hotel!).
Mini Map:
Brief Description: As you thunder out of the pits you have
a hard right to get you facing the down centre. The track then splits
into two after the start/finish line. Taking the right will have
you a quicker route but there are some nasty turns to contend with!
Then it is flat out as you charge out of the town and gunn under the jump!
After a few tight turns and a quick visit to the hospitol and you are lined
up for the ride of your life! Floor that arrow key as you fly over
the jump and crash back down at full speed, and trust me, taking that S-bend
is hard at full speed in the Renault Megane! After two hard rights
you are back on the Start finish line and ready for another two hectic
laps....
Renders:
A Neat little render of the town centre construced with Adobe
to do the Lens Flare.
As darkness descends on the town, the bright lights illuminate
this busy town.
As the light fades you can see the brilliant sun set as you
head into the countryside. From here you can see the run-up to the
jump ahead.
GTA Rally Map2 - SeaSide Drive
Credits: Chrissyb made this map all by
himself - damn he works hard :)
Misc Info on map: The second map for GTA Rally, Sea Side Drive
is about as different to Downtown as you can get - this is a "point-to-point"
race rather than a track, making it more like a real rally stage.
Chrissyb has obviously put a lot of work into this map - good work :)
This is in place of Vice City.
Mini Map:
This map is actually a LOT bigger than Downtown but I had to
make it smaller to fit.
Brief Description: Right then, you start off in your team garages
and you scramble for the car you want, you then floor it down the straight
passing various buildings before hitting the beach (yeah!) You then
floor it under a shopping department store before hurtling round a built
up area and head towards to broken bridge. After clearing that, you
are sent into a nasty network of tight turns - there is no margin of error
here!. Then you gunn down the long straight, fighting to the last
for 1st position before hitting a nasty hairpin and then the finish line
back into the pits.

This is the view from just after the shopping complex with the
sun setting in the sky.

Here we can see our very own Chrissyb's Mansion situated infront
of the park.

GTA Rally Map3 - Country Drive
Credits: Azz made the layout, and I helped
with the scenery and I made the dirt textures
Misc Info on map: This is the first GTA Rally map to have dirt
roads! At the moment, the map is not finished, this is just a template
so you could see how the third map was doing. Another hectic point-to-point,
this one slots in under Downtown
Mini Map:
Brief Description: A nice long drive throught the country
side! A lot of tight, twisty turns in this one, you have to be good
at powersliding to get round this in good time. This track is very
narrow in places, things are gonna get cramped with 8 players all jostling
for position ;) At one point, the track splits into two raised sections,
only 2 tiles wide - ouch! Just be careful and be prepared to ease
off the throttle - you can't just overtake anywhere on this map (A chance
for the better handling cars here.)
